Rob Mehl

Growing up on the beaches of California and Hawai`i was enough to pump ocean rhythms and white sand into Rob Mehl's soul. The San Diego-based singer/songwriter and surfer has been playing and singing about them for years. Accompanying himself on guitar and `ukulele, his music displays a lifetime love affair with the sea and pays tribute to all the artists, writers, dreamers, adventurers, and watermen and women who have inspired him over the years. Recorded on Kaua`i in September 2005, Could You Be More Pacific? kisses the shores of Hawai`i, California and Mexico, with Michael Ruff producing and a cast of all-stars playing.
Rob Mehl calls Vista, California (near San Diego) home, but travels to his favorite islands in the Pacific, the Florida Keys and Mexico. His music represents flavors he has collected from these places, and matters of the heart, that are blended in his own unique way. His stylings may remind you of places you have been to and enjoyed, and people who are special to you. Known as a strong, passionate and articulate singer and a personal, expressive writer, Rob pleases audiences everywhere he goes with his blue guitar and insightful songs.
