Quartetto Desueto Mari Lontani OK, the name is unusual, and means, unusual, en italiano. It's true, but not unusual
in the left-field, hyperbolic sense you might think. Their group sense & collaborative instincts range
from generously talented classica, with folk elements, and infectous arrangements that drive the dance floor and get
the rockers moving. Everyone agrees they are just unusually good.

that. And in his usual style, "You Are My Song" showcases beautiful classic songs, ballads, gospel, funky R&B and some
very soulful keyboard work. With wonderful guitar work by James Harrah, and vocals by Olivia Ruff.

Michael Ruff Acoustic Trios When Michael Ruff goes on piano safari in your living room for a weekend with Kaua`i musician friends
Tony Rodarte on drums, and Mike Latif, Trey Thompson and Darryl Miyasato on double bass,
well naturally you're going along even if you're just one of the porters. Bob Francescini drops in on sax from New York,
daughter Olivia Ruff on vocals from the West Coast, and Sara Thompson from Kauai's North Shore on background vocals.
Sit (if you can) and listen in on this one.
Each song is its own animal, with every hue and pattern, tamber of growl or laughter, glint of tears or rain, exposed and explored.
Jazz impregnated by funk, R&B, Latin, blues and gospel - definitely Jaberwacky - Michael and friends bring home the catch on Acoustic Trios.

Leilani Rivera Bond Aloha Anianiau Bond and producer Michael Ruff have done a beautiful job with the end product -- the music. The arrangements are
uncluttered, Bond's voice is warm and melodic. She personalizes local standards -- "Koke'e" and "Beautiful Kauai," to name two --
and introduces newer compositions that seem certain to appeal to Hawaiian-speakers.
Guests such as Holunape, Willie K, Zanuck Kapala
Lindsey and Eric Gillom contribute other voices and instrumentation, but never intrusively. Mandolin and banjo, for example, add
subtle grass-roots textures to "Koke'e." Produced by Michael Ruff
